I did decorate for fall on Saturday.
But…nothing elaborate for the table…..
It’s often a construction zone lately / if not that, it’s something else. But please note the Halloween Sipper Cups and Fresh Picked Flowers in a Vase! (smile)
My home is a little 1917 bungalow with a living room, this dining room, and a galley kitchen. Two bedrooms and one bath upstairs.
I often see people describe their home as a cottage.
Wikipedia says ” In modern usage, a cottage is usually a modest, often cosy dwelling,” If cozy means small to Wikipedia well that’s my place! (Smile) This table is used for everything!

well with youngsters around it is difficult to keep a decorated “cottage”. I know the feeling when my grandies are around! The worlds that are created on the table!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today to say hi – have a wonderful week.
Hi Debra,
So nice to meet you! Those Halloween sipper cups are all you need – and grandma’s little one that uses them -to make fall or any season ”cozy”!
Thanks for visiting today and your lovely comment.
Hope you have a great week.

When my kids were small there was never anything on my coffee table. They used it for everything. Good times and good memories.
I chuckled reading the post, and I like the construction zone decorating. I actually own a coffee table and a second end table but both are in the attic. The grandkids love having the open carpet space to play, and I much prefer the kids and the memories to the tables.
I would take the decorating style of children over anything else. It’s lovely and creative! :)
Too Cute! At least the construction trucks tie in well with the Aumtumn colors! lol! Seeing kids at play beats decorating any day in my book. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
Hugs,
Jann
You are probably wise to admit defeat — the dining room table will not get decorated. Less frustrating if you just go with it!
Nothing cuter than a constructive Autumn decorating event!
ha!
I love your house!
